The story ‘The Butterfly that Slayed a Dragon’ was inspired by a ‘real life’ celestial event, which happened on October 16th 2017.
Many people watched in awe as the sun turned to blood red and the sky to a strange nicotine yellow. The accompanying foreboding atmosphere soon ignited the Author’s creative imagination and a fantasy story for teenagers (and re-cycled teenagers with good memories too) took flight!.
